Long is playing Roxanne Shanté’s mother in, Roxanne Roxanne, a forthcoming biopic, co-produced by Forest Whitaker.
The film is currently filming in her hometown borough and will chronicle Shanté’s journey from 14-year-old rapper to hip-hop legend.
