Drizzy has 14 nods and Future follows with 10.
The elites and critically acclaimed acts have made up the nominees for this year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards. In light of his 3rd platinum plaque for Views, Drake has topped the nominations with 14. Some of the nods include Album of the Year, Best Live Performer, Lyricist of the Year and Best Hip-Hop Video.
Next up is Future with 10 nominations and Kanye West with eight. Chance the Rapper, Desiigner, Tory Lanez, Bryson Tiller, and Anderson .Paak all make their respective debuts to the awards show. The event heads back down to Georiga at Atlanta’s Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in September. The show will air Oct. 4. at 8 p.m. EST.
