Dr. Cheryl Proctor of Portland Public Schools is one of three finalists for the search for Memphis Shelby County Schools position of Superintendent. In an article written by Christopher F. Rufo for The City Journal dated July 27 2022 & titled, In Portland, the Sexual Revolution Starts in Kindergarten, a cache of documents from a source inside PPS exposes this curriculum that has been adopted in many of the districts K-5 classrooms. The cache of documents also outlines the solution, obliterate the “white colonizer” conception of sexuality, with it’s rigid male-female binary, and encourage students to inhabit “the infinite gender spectrum”. Dr. Cheryl Proctor is a finalist in the search for superintendent for Memphis Shelby County Schools.
