Frankland Shane Strickland is charged with five counts of solicitation of a minor, and five counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. The Fayette-Ware High School teacher is accused after the mother of a 15 year old boy alleges that her son had been receiving explicit messages from a teacher at Fayette-Ware High School. The student told investigators that Strickland asked him to open an Instagram account and upon doing so, invited him to join a private group chat. Investigators found explicit messages between the teacher and 4 students between the ages of 15-17. In the messages, Strickland asked the boys to send him photos of themselves. According to Fayette County Sherriff’s office, pictures of nude males were found on Strickland’s phone.
