“Why did you chase us with the helicopter? That was lame.” – Car Thief suspect, Dewayne Spears. Three suspects who were seen driving around in a stolen car have been caught by MPD. The police reported a sighting of a stolen Dodge Challenger in the area of Highland and Southern with a broken sun roof. One of the suspects who ran from the car and was later caught, had broken glass in his pockets consistent with that of the Challenger. The car had been reported stolen from a downtown home on 12/30. The three suspects are due to appear in court on Wednesday.
