GRIZZLIES | Ja Morant Is Out With Season-Ending Shoulder Injury

Memphis Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant will not finish the rest of the 2023-2024 season after the team announced he will require season-ending surgery for his shoulder.

His injury was confirmed to be a labral tear on his right shoulder that he suffered on Saturday during practice.

This comes after Morant’s 25-game suspension to start the season. He only played nine games since his return, leading the Grizzlies to a 6-3 record in those games.

This injury now leaves Memphis in a worse situation than they started with. They are currently not in the playoff picture but can secure a high 2024 draft pick if they continue to lose.
