Memphis Light Gas and Water has confirmed that the boil-water advisory is lifted.
Doug McGowen, MLGW President and CEO, announced that customers can go back to consuming the water as usual. The test samples were approved for safety Tuesday afternoon.
“There are no restrictions on the use of drinking water supplied to all MLGW customers,” MLGW said in a press release. “This action has been taken in consultation with the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation after assuring water safety standards have been met.”
