More information on the tragic Nashville plane crash reveals the five victims were a Canadian family, three of which included children.
Nashville Police confirmed that Victor Dotsenko, 43, was the pilot and the father. The rest of the passengers were his wife Rimma, 39, and their three kids aged 12, 10, and 7.
They were traveling through the United States from Ontario, where they live, and made stops in Pennsylvania and Kentucky. The crash resulted in an engine failure and not being close enough to emergency land at John C. Tune Airport in Nashville.
Steve Pellegrini, the mayor of King Township, Ontario put out a press release acknowledging the tragedy of one of their citizens.
