In a new development from the White House, it seems the latest ploy to keep President Joe Biden from making headlines for the wrong reasons is a new shoe with an extremely wide sole to keep him from stumbling in front of cameras.
Inside Edition came out with information last month that Biden has been wearing Hoka’s, a popular hiking and running shoe brand, made especially for him called the Hoka Transport.
Jake Cook, host of afternoon drive’s “Nation Of Jake”, also added that the shoes aren’t the only thing that makes this story embarrassing for Biden.
“They’re also making him go up the short stairs,” Jake said. “The President is supposed to ascend and descend the big stairs of Air Force One, that’s iconic.”
He also pointed out the irony in Biden wearing the shoes while also battling and refuting the reputation of his age and cognitive state.
“They are doing all these things while maintaining that he’s with it, he’s got vigor, he’s energetic and that this is the best Joe Biden that there’s ever been. But it’s not and he knows it.”
