After two weeks of searching, the body of Missouri college student Riley Strain has been found Friday in the Cumberland River in West Nashville.
Metro Nashville Police confirmed it was Strain after identifying the white and black shirt worn. They did not suspect any foul play, and an autopsy will be held on Friday.
This comes after the initial disappearance of Strain while he was in Nashville on March 8 for a fraternity trip.
Reports indicated he was kicked out of Luke Bryan’s bar on Broadway, and was not seen from his group after that.
Security camera footage last captured Strain stumbling as he walked by the Cumberland River two blocks from the bar. It was widely speculated he fell in and drowned.
