The salary for the new Memphis Shelby County School superintendent has been revealed as her tenure is set to begin on April 1.
Dr. Marie Feagins, who was picked by the MSCS board in February, will be signed to a four-year deal worth $325,000 per year.
She will be replacing Toni Williams, who served as interim superintendent for a year and a half.
Feagins previously served in the Detroit Public School system as Chief of Leadership and High Schools.
