A Kroger in Millington was the scene of an intentional crash where police found a semi-truck rammed into the store.
This all happened Tuesday night as the Kroger was closing up.
Clarence Carter, 45, was the reported driver. Witnesses say he was in the store prior to the crash and was causing a scene and disturbing the flow of the store. When he left, he entered his semi-truck and plowed right into the front of the store.
When police arrived to the scene, Carter, from Nashville, tried to flee but was apprehended and arrested. He has since been charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault, Resisting Arrest, and Vandalism.
No injuries were reported inside or outside the store, including the driver.
