Nickelodeon’s former producer Dan Schneider has reportedly sued the producers of “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV”, alleging the docu-series put him in a bad light and making implications that he also was sexually abusing child actors throughout his time.
The defamation suit was filed against Warner Bros. Discovery in Los Angeles.
The documentary, released in March, exposed the sexual abuse within many of the popular shows in the 1990s and 2000s such as “All That,” “The Amanda Show” and “Drake & Josh”.
The series did confirm three actual sexual predators, but only made Schneider out as being a toxic boss and responsible for the environment created at the studios.
According to Investigation Discovery, over 16 million people have watched the series, spiking throughout social media when it was released.
Schneider, a Memphis native, graduated from White Station High School and moved to Los Angeles right after to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
