As part of the Celebrity Weekend hosted by the Heal the Hood Foundation, a celebrity basketball game will be featured including both Memphis Mayor Paul Young and Shelby County Mayor Lee Harris.
The benefit weekend will be from June 7-8, with the celebrity game being on Saturday the 8th at 3 p.m at Ridgeway High School.
Also taking part in the game is former Memphis Grizzlies coach Lionel Hollins and former player Tony Allen, who is having his jersey retired next season by the team.
The cost to get in is $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
On June 7, a co-ed basketball camp for kids aged 7 through 17 will be hosted by former NBA G-League coach Kevin Whitted. That will take place at Kirby High School from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
