One of the classic Memphis dessert destinations has announced its popular original location will be closing after over 55 years of service.
Jerry’s Sno Cones’ original store is located on Wells Station in Berclair, and have since opened a newer location in Cordova with more space to accommodate guests.
They released a statement on their Facebook page announcing the closing but reassuring customers that another store will be opening after they vote on where to build it.
“It is with a heavy heart that my daughter and I have closed only the original Jerry’s location in Berclair/Nutbush. Our Cordova location is OPEN!” the social media post read. “We would like to thank the Berclair/Nutbush neighborhood for hosting Jerry’s Snow Cones for the past 55 plus years! What a nice, wild ride it’s been!”
The Cordova store is located at 1601 Bonnie Lane.
