A car crash involving three people happened on I-55 Thursday morning which has left the interstate at a standstill in the rainy weather.
It all occurred right before 10 a.m. on I-55 at the South Parkway overpass.
A wrecked tractor-trailer, a truck and an SUV are the vehicles involved in the wreck.
Memphis Police confirmed three are in critical condition and transported to Regional One Hospital.
This has left northbound lanes shut down and two southbound lanes totally blocked.
