Officials announced that the reward for a man who escaped the DeSoto County jail on charges of murder and attempted murder has been raised to $10,000.
Zimmerman is charged with murder in Houston, attempted murder in Southaven, taking away a car, armed robbery, having a firearm in the custody of a felon, and disorderly conduct.
According to the DA’s office, the DeSoto County District Attorney’s Office and the U.S. Marshals are each pitching in $5,000.
Anyone with information about Zimmerman’s whereabouts is urged to get in touch with their local law enforcement agency right away.
DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office has also warned the public by stating that any outside help for the fugitive will also be facing criminal charges.
