Memphis Police have charged Richard Lewis, 44, with first-degree murder.
The parking area at Main Event was crowded with officers who were investigating the deadly shooting of a security guard.
Memphis Police say they went to a shooting call on Appling Farms Parkway at 7:15 p.m. and discovered a man deceased from a gunshot wound.
Newstalk 98.9’s Jeff Brightwell, from Memphis Morning News, got the update from Major Christopher Parker who specified that the victim was pronounced dead at the scene and that they arrested the shooter.
