An accident in Hickory Hill on Sunday night killed three individuals and injured five others, including three children.
Memphis Police went just after 8 p.m. to a two-vehicle incident near Hickory Hill Road and Sunny Morning Drive. The crash left lanes closed in the area.
There was much damage around the scene of the wreck with power lines damaged into the roads. According to MPD, both the driver and the 51-year-old passenger in one vehicle died.
The driver of the second vehicle died, and three male passengers, ages 23, 21, and 17, were listed in critical condition. The other two injured are in stable condition.
