Germantown native and Olympic triathlete Seth Rider assisted Team USA in winning a silver medal in Paris on Monday.
Teylo Knibb, Morgan Pearson, Taylor Spivey, and Seth Rider make up Team USA.
At one hour and twenty-five minutes, the group beat Great Britain, who came in third, by a millisecond. The team posted a total time of 1:25.40, Rider led team USA with a time of 20:19.
He was one of the two men chosen for the United States’ five-person squad that would compete in Paris.
