LOCAL | HVAC Complications Lead To Several MSCS School Closures

For several Memphis Shelby County Schools, the heat is seriously interfering with air conditioner systems leading to closures.

Due to HVAC problems, certain Shelby County Schools dismissed early on Tuesday for the second time. MSCS informed parents via email on Monday that classes will end early at 12 different campuses.

It is predicted that Tuesday will be 96 degrees with a minimum heat index of 103.

For the remainder of the week, temperatures will be in the 90s.
