LOCAL | Woman’s Car Shot Up Over 30 Times Leaves 2 Arrested On 200k Bond

A 19-year-old is in custody on a $200,000 bond after it was reported by the police that he fired more than 30 shots at a woman’s car in Whitehaven on Sunday.

Aggravated assault is the charge against Nicholas Caldwell.

The victim claimed that after leaving her friend’s house, she was caught in the crossfire of what sounded like 15 gunshots while driving on Berta Road. Her car was hit by three bullets.

Afterwards, Caldwell and a second suspect were charged and brought before a juvenile court.

The next appearance for Nicholas Caldwell is set for court on Tuesday morning.
