An $80,000 Corvette that was taken from Memphis International Airport earlier this month has been found by police.
There were four bullet holes, a flat tire, and two smashed windows on the 2017 Corvette Grand Sport.
On July 31, the owner from Lakeland parked his sportscar on the fifth floor of the Memphis Airport’s economy lot. Five days later, he returned to find his car gone.
There was another car that took the original spot and glass was found on the ground, presumably from his Corvette.
On August 3, a car thief was seen driving the vehicle out of the parking deck as it was captured on security footage.
Nothing is known about any arrests that police have made or not made.
