Fayette County continues to grow as a new hospital has been announced to begin construction in a few years.
To be situated on Highway 64 near Warren Road, between Somerville and Oakland, the facility spans roughly 20,000 square feet and is designed for the rapidly growing population in Fayette Co.
Following the Somerville hospital’s closure in 2015, Baptist and Fayette County entered into a collaboration that led to the creation of the hospital.
The opening is scheduled for October 2026, and construction is anticipated to take two years.
