LOCAL | City Of Memphis Approves $5M Upgrades To Autozone Park

Five million dollars have been set aside by the city of Memphis for improvements at AutoZone Park.

The batting cage area, safety netting, and LED lights at the Memphis Redbirds stadium will all be updated.

The skyscraper will receive $10 million of the $16 million in taxpayer funds that the city approved to be divided between AutoZone Park and 100 N Main.

Autozone Park opened to the public in the Fall of 2000.
