Much of the Mid-South will experience Tropical Storm Helene’s aftereffects on Friday, including “pockets of gusting winds” and “areas of heavy rain.”
The National Weather Service reports that a flood watch will linger until Saturday at seven in the morning.
Friday will be the day with the most rain. Expect three to six inches of rain, with higher amounts locally. Rainfall totals may be higher further east near Nashville.
