LOCAL | AAC Reschedules Memphis v USF Game For Saturday, Originally Set For Friday

Due to Hurricane Milton’s predicted impact, Memphis’ game against South Florida, which was originally set for Friday, has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 12 at 2:30 p.m.

The American Athletic Conference announced the rescheduling Tuesday morning.

As for now, Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida will still host the game.

Details about the television programming will be revealed later. Hurricane Milton is expected to make landfall in the Tampa Bay area by Wednesday.

The Tampa Bay area is expected to experience the biggest storm surges in more than a century as a result of Milton, a hurricane that was recently announced as a Category 5. Since then, it has weakened a little but still remains powerful.

Residents who are anticipated to be in Milton’s path have already received an evacuation order from Florida and President Biden.
