NATIONAL | Hurricane Milton Hits Florida, Over 3 Million Without Power

On Thursday, Hurricane Milton made landfall in the Atlantic Ocean after tearing over Florida, pummeling communities with fierce winds and rain, and even video footage of multiple tornadoes.

At least four people died.

Over 3.2 million homes and businesses in Florida were left without electricity as a result of the hurricane, which affected a significant portion of the state.

Approximately 7.2 million people live in 15 Florida counties where authorities have issued mandatory evacuation orders.

Governor Ron DeSantis has made a statement telling Florida residents who have evacuated to stay where they are until they give the clear. They are now assessing the damage and working on which areas are safe to return to.
