LOCAL | Suspects Arrested For A Police Chase In Stolen Vehicle Due In Court Tuesday Morning

Two men are in jail, including a murder suspect, who allegedly led police on a chase in a stolen vehicle in East Memphislast Friday.

Officers say they responded to a suspicious person call near Ridgeway Road and Primacy Parkway in the early afternoon. One suspect was taken at the time, while another fled the area in a vehicle.

Timothy Woods, 20, is charged with burglary of a motor vehicle, fleeing arrest, and theft of valuables between $10,000 and $60,000. He is currently in jail on a $200,000 bond.

Roderic Crymes, 21, has been charged with burglary of a motor vehicle, escaping arrest through foot chase, possession of burglary equipment, and theft of property between $10,000 and $60,000.

He is also the suspect who had a warrant out for his arrest for first-degree murder. Crymes’ bond was set at the time for $1.1 million.

Both Crymes and Woods are expected to be in court Tuesday morning.
