LOCAL | Special Assistant To Dr. Marie Feagins Submits Letter Of Resignation

Special Assistant to Memphis-Shelby County Schools Superintendent, Marie Feagins, has announced her resignation.

Camalyn Turner earned the position in June.

Her last day with the district will be October 22, according to her letter of resignation, which was addressed to Senior Leaders and Team Members on Tuesday.

This is the second recent departure from a senior member of Feagins’ staff.

George Harris, Executive Director of Safety and Security, announced his resignation for “personal reasons” after security personnel threatened to strike in August.
