NATIONAL | President Biden And President-Elect Trump Meet At White House Promising A ‘Smooth Transition’

President-elect Trump and President Biden both promised a smooth transition between administrations when they met at the White House on Wednesday morning.

They met with smiles and handshakes, a stark contrast to their behavior with one another four years ago during their election campaigns.

Trump returned to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue just over a week after his landslide election victory against Vice President Kamala Harris.

His return made it his first visit to the White House in over four years. He came to the White House at the invitation of Biden, and their conversation was brief.

Trump’s inauguration ceremony will be held at Washington D.C. on January 20, 2025.
