LOCAL |Man Held On Over $1M Bond After Shooting His Wife In The Face

A man is now in jail after allegedly shooting his wife in the face following an argument last month.

According to Memphis Police, a woman entered the Raines Station Precinct on November 10 and said that she had been shot by a man named Shaun Rankin.

The woman claimed she was shot after an altercation with Rankin when she attempting to leave the property.

She was sent in critical condition to Regional One Hospital.

45-year-old Shaun Rankin was charged with violating a protective order, aggravated kidnapping, and criminal attempt second-degree murder.

Rankin’s court date is set for Wednesday morning. He is incarcerated on a bond of $1,137,500.
