After an incredible run to the championship game in the Maui Invitational, AP Top 25 Rankings have listed Memphis as the #16 team in the country.
The Tigers have jump started the season to a 6-1 record, defeating UConn in the first round in Maui and beating Michigan State the next day in the round 2.
They ultimately ran out of gas in the final game against Auburn, the #1 ranked team now, but their run was historic as the program never reached the championship game prior to last week.
Their next game will be on Wednesday at home to play a 7-1 Louisiana Tech team that has yet to lose on the road.
The broadcast will be heard on Newstalk 98.9 FM, the home of Memphis Tiger basketball. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m., pregame will air at 6 p.m.
