LOCAL | Rhodes College Faces Criticism For Not Finding Person Responsible For Racist Slurs On Campus Building

Following the discovery of racial slurs on campus, Rhodes College is facing criticism from students.

One student said that thirteen sheets of paper with derogatory remarks about black students were in front of the National Pan-Hellenic Council Plaza.

That was 2 weeks ago and students are frustrated they haven’t found the person responsible.

Rhodes College released a statement saying, “We are working diligently to identify the person responsible for leaving a message of hateful rhetoric on our campus over the Thanksgiving break. It is still an active investigation.”

Tonight, the university will host an open discussion regarding campus culture.
