According to the MSCS Board agenda, the Memphis-Shelby County School Board will meet Tuesday to discuss ending the contract of Superintendent Dr. Marie Feagins.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
This follows months of alleged conflict between Feagins, who was hired back in February, and the MSCS Board.
Some members of the school board said in September that hiring Dr. Feagins was a “mistake.”
“As a board, we made a decision to hire Dr. Marie Feagins, and if I’m being honest with you, it was a mistake,” Althea Greene wrote. “She was the least qualified candidate for the position, and her actions since coming onboard have shown her lack of experience as a leader.”
