In a game full with highlights, Memphis defeated West Virginia 42-37 to win the 2024 Frisco Bowl.
Memphis started the game hot with 17-straight points to start the night, but the Mountaineers were able to pick it up towards the end of the game. It all came down to the final plays when Memphis intercepted West Virginia’s final drive to win it.
Quarterback Seth Henigan has stayed at Memphis the past four seasons and ended his college career near his hometown in Texas in great fashion with 294 yards on 18-for-26 passing.
The win became the Tiger’s fourth bowl game victory in 11 years and Coach Ryan Silverfield remains undefeated at 4-0 in Bowl game play.
