MPD confirmed a suspect was taken into custody for carjacking and shooting a man only an hour after robbing someone else at their home and holding people hostage.
20-year-old Alexander Moreno was arrested on Wednesday.
According to reports, he acknowledged that he was one of the individuals that took part in the robbery on Mamie Avenue and the carjacking and shooting on Wingate Road.
Among the charges against Moreno are three counts of Especially Aggravated Kidnapping, four counts of Aggravated Assault, two counts of Carjacking, Criminal Attempt First Degree Murder, and Aggravated Robbery.
No bond has been issued for him. His court date is set for this Friday.
