According to the MPD, a woman struck a window and caused additional damage with an axe at a daycare Wednesday morning.
The incident occured on Walnut Grove Road close to Tillman just before 9a.m.
Authorities say the woman caused an estimated $8,000 in damages, but no one was hurt.
She escaped west on Walnut Grove, running down the steps with the ax. The suspect allegedly left her driver’s license in the parking lot.
The daycare has confirmed they are looking to press charges on the suspect once she is found.
