Memphis Police have arrested Ashley Perkins and charged her with theft of property. The self proclaimed gang mom of the street “gang” Kia Boyz was in possession of credit cards, debit cards and other items from stolen cars.
Perkins told police she was a member of Grape Street gang and “mom” of the Kia Boyz and they would bring her items that had been taken out of cars they stole and she attempted to buy stuff with the cards.
In January, the Memphis Police Auto Task Force, Bartlett SWAT and the Crime Suppression Unit executed a search warrant on Greenland Road in Northeast Memphis and took in 39 year old Ashley Perkins and another person in to custody. The police report says stolen credit cards, social security numbers and a $500 check that was stolen from a truck belonging to a pastor while he was visiting Memphis.
