LOCAL | DOGE Announces Savings Of $1.2M After Terminating Real Estate Contracts In The Mid-South

At least five federal offices located in Oxford, Mississippi, Collierville, and Memphis, Tennessee are having their real estate contracts terminated, according to the Department of Government Efficiency.

The department is most commonly known as DOGE.

According to DOGE’s “wall of receipts” on its website, the reductions will result in a total savings of $1,222,284.

The following offices will be effected: the Food and Drug Administration office in Memphis, the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service in Collierville, the USDA National Appeals Division office in Memphis, , the U.S. Marshals Service in Oxford, and the Internal Revenue Service in Oxford.
