The woman accused of killing Pastor Ricky Floyd outside a bar and restaurant in Downtown Memphis made her initial court appearance on Thursday morning. Her bond has been set at $100,000.
Floyd was shot and killed outside Momma’s Bar and Grill early on Wednesday morning, according to the police, and 42-year-old Samantha Marion was charged with voluntary manslaughter in connection with his death.
Police say after Floyd got into an argument with Marion and two other individuals, he was gunned down.
Marion’s bond will be reviewed on Friday, March 14, after telling the judge she was unsure about affording her bail. She was also assigned a public defender.
