West Tennessee law enforcement agencies shared information from what they are referring to as a “record meth bust” by the violent crime and drug task force.
When Haywood County investigators saw a private vehicle in a trailer earlier this week, they became suspicious and stopped the commercial vehicle traveling east on I-40.
They deployed a K-9 unit and when the dog warned them, they discovered more than 50 significantly sized packets of methamphetamine, weighing 115 pounds and worth more than $500,00 in street value.
It was all hidden in a secret compartment within the car.
