Over the weekend, Sauce Walka, a rapper from Houston, Texas, was shot in broad daylight in downtown Memphis.
Sauce, whose real name is Albert Walker Mondane, was shot on George W. Lee Avenue around 2 p.m. on Saturday.
The shooting is being termed as a “targeted incident” by Memphis Police.
Mondane was treated for a bullet wound to his thigh at Regional One Hospital. Police declared the second shooting victim, rapper Sayso P, as deceased.
MPD has confirmed they have homicide detectives looking for the suspects responsible.
