The man who shot and killed two people during a basketball game at Humboldt High School in 2021 has been given a 76-year prison sentence.
When 18-year-old Jadon Hardiman approached the concession area of the basketball gym at Humboldt High School in November 2021, he shot and killed Xavier Clifton and Justin Pankey while injuring Dontavious Cross.

In November 2024, Hardiman was found guilty on two counts of second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, carrying a weapon on school property with the intent to go armed, aggravated assault, and using a handgun during the commission of a dangerous felony.
On Monday, he received a sentence of 76 years in the Tennessee Department of Correction in Gibson County.
