A man claimed that after being set up by a woman he met on a dating site, he was shot at his Whitehaven home on Friday morning.
He was transported to Regional One in critical condition after being discovered at the scene on Dolan Drive.
The victim informed the police that he had planned to meet up with a woman he had met on a dating site.
According to reports, she rode in a light-colored Chevrolet truck to his house. The victim claimed that a man in the back seat attacked him from behind as soon as he got inside the truck.
After the victim managed to escape, the woman shot at him. The man then shot him twice as the victim was approaching his driveway, striking him just once.
No suspects have been found.
