Gunshots over the weekend on I-240 and Walnut Grove has left a man injured and a woman fighting for her life.
A severely wounded female victim was sent to Regional One Hospital with gunshot wounds to the leg and possible wounds to the head.
The male victim said he and his girlfriend were traveling in their Jeep when they were shot at by another car.
He then lost control of the car and collided with the median. According to the female victim, they had just dropped off family members downtown.
Another car pulled up beside them and began shooting as they entered the interstate.
Both victims said there was no reason to the shooting, and at this time, there is no information on possible suspects.
