Following two people shot on Interstate 40, a man was charged with attempted first-degree murder and a woman is facing charges as an accomplice.
On March 15, police were called to gunfire reports on I-40, near Summer Avenue.
They discovered a male victim shot in a Chevy Malibu and another victim close to a gunshot-damaged Nissan Rogue. Both were sent in critical condition to Regional One.
Jerry Moore, the driver of the Nissan Rogue, was found to be the shooter after an investigation. Moore had been driving a car that belonged to Amber Woods, his girlfriend.

Moore was charged with attempted first-degree murder and a firearms offense on Tuesday, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
On Wednesday, MPD’s Fugitive Team apprehended him on Naples Drive.
Woods also was charged with false reporting and tampering with evidence.
