The Powamekka Cafe will open September 13 with menu items named after the late rapper’s most iconic songs.
The West Coast is in for a treat. Word is, a Tupac inspired pop-up restaurant is coming to Fresno, California just in time for the late rapper’s 20th anniversary of his death.
According to Rolling Stone, Tupac had interest in opening Powamekka Cafe. The rapper reportedly sketched ideas for a cookbook and restaurant based on his own family recipes, as well as contributions from other artists in the game. One of his notes, also planned out the logo, which incorporates an ankh symbol, and drawings for the bathrooms that were labeled “Divaz” and “Playaz.”
