Mack Weaver, former CFO for Memphis in May (MIM), has taken up the position as the new CEO and president of MIM.
He will be replacing Jim Holt, who retired on January 31. Weaver has been a barbecue cooking championship judge and a part of MIM for a quarter decade.
This comes after Memphis in May decided to take a year off for the 2024 Beale Street Music Festival. Another recent change was the announcement of the Memphis in May World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest, now to be held at Liberty Park.
