The new Nissan Stadium for the Tennessee Titans will be breaking ground beginning Thursday afternoon in downtown Nashville.
Several guest speakers including Governor Bill Lee will be present in the groundbreaking ceremony and talk about all the future possibilities of the stadium.
This new and improved football stadium will seat ten thousand fewer than the current Nissan stadium with 60,000. The target year for its completion isn’t until 2027.
It will come at a total of $2.2 billion, paid by the Titans and the state and will be built just east of the current stadium.
